Christmas personalised number plates
The many motorists who have received personalised number plates as Xmas gifts now need to assign them to their vehicles. This will involve a trip to their closest vehicle registration office with the vehicle and all it’s documents plus some proof of ID. Staff at the VRO will change the vehicle documents to reflect the registration number change and will issue a new tax disc with the new number on. Also they will provide a V948 which is authority to have the plates made up. This must be taken with proof of ID to a motorists shop where they can make the plates.
