Vinegar and washer cleaner
Vinegar and washer cleaner are known to clean appliances and to eliminate unwanted odors. Vinegar and washer cleaner can also be used to clean your cheap washing machines. To clean your stinky washer with vinegar or washer cleaner, start with an empty washing machine and run your appliance on the fullest load setting possible. Once the washing machine tub is full of water and starts the agitation cycle, pour about three cups of vinegar or washer cleaner into the unit and allow it to agitate around. If you use vinegar, add about one-half cup of baking soda to the washing machine, too.
