The Apremilast for Gout
A very new medicine in which a clinical trial with regard to its use in gout has just been announced is just what we call Apremilast for gout. That has been used pertaining to psoriasis and its associated arthritis, yet the application to gout is new. An inflammatory reaction to uric acid crystals being deposited into the joints is gout. Lately a registered clinical trial is going to be able to test to see when the use of Apremilast is better than the use regarding indomethacin, which has been used to treat an acute attack involving gout for over 50 years already. The drug does hold promise of being more effective. The results will not be available regarding a year or so.
