My Grandpa’s Favorite Brand of Paint
My grandpa was fastidious about house upkeep. Every spring he took down the storm windows and put up the screens. He always carefully inspected each window and made any necessary repairs. About every couple of years he gave them all a coat of paint. He did that kind of work in his “shop” in the basement. Dutch Boy Paint must have been his favorite brand. There were always cans of it in his workshop. I’ll always remember the brand because of the Dutch boy on the can. It is a very unique logo and can’t be confused with any other paint brand.
