Spray Foam Insulation Make a Great Sound Barrier
I was so excited about my great idea to create a recording studio in my basement, that is until I talked to my wife. She reminded me that we had two small children and a baby on the way. How would they ever sleep if I was banging away in the basement for hours every night? She had a valid point, and I knew that I needed to come up with a solution before I went ahead with my plans. The solution turned out to be spray foam insulation. We applied it to all the surfaces downstairs as a sound barrier and absorber. Then we decorated. Now I can make music to my heart’s content.
