Mancozeb fungicide is a very harsh chemical that can have very serious effects on the nervous system causing a wide variety of symptoms such as headaches, nausea and rashes. However mancozeb as been known to cross the placental barrier inducing or increasing tumor incidence, damaging DNA and causing tumors to develop in the fetal cells and is listed in the state of California as causing cancer in humans. Persons who have been exposed to high doses have reported convulsions, confusion, slow or erratic heartbeats and slurred speech patterns.
