First getaway for the year
We went through queenstown car hire to get a vehicle for the week and the hotel chain we usually stay with had a place there which made for an easy choice of accommodation. Almost unbelievably it was our first vacation for the year and we had been hanging out for it. Even though the temperatures were not so ideal for being outside we still went for plenty of walks by the lake and around town and sat at cafes enjoying the views during the days. A couple of the days we jumped in the car and went on a couple of day trips which were really nice and we got to see some parts of the country we never knew about.
